"Prue is intelligent, artistic, independent - and bored. Pressurized by her mother to make a conventional and dull marriage, she is delighted to escape London and seek retreat with her eccentric and bohemian aunt in Cornwall.
A chance encounter with an attractive young artist on the sea shore leads to day after idyllic summer's day of exploring the Cornish countryside and coast. But there is something troubling Daniel and Prue, now deeply entangled, feels compelled to discover what it is."

Another comforting book by Rosamunde Pilcher, this one is better than Another View but you can still find similarities between both stories. I have yet to read a book as good as The Shell Seekers though!
This is a sweet story and although you can probably guess what will happen in the end, you want to continue reading. I have the same complaint about this book than I had about Another View, why so short? I want to know more about the characters, more about their backgrounds, I want much more.
Anyway I liked the story and if you're a romantic then you'll probably enjoy it too! :o) I'm going to pass this on to other Rosamunde Pilcher's fans.

It really is a nice little book, a lovely story, even though most of it is predictable we still keep interested in the characters and how the story goes.
I like Ms Pilcher's books but I'm starting to fell she repeats herself too much, but it can be because some of her books are so small that there's really no space to tell us more.
(and do you think the title of the book is appropriate?? hummmm.....)
Thanks for the book, Virgulina, going to another fan, do you think?? :op
