2 journalers for this copy...
I was hooked on this book from start to finish. Loved it. Just wish the ending was a little more expanded out.
I do have one question though - what was the mystery of the severed hand Melanie found in the kitchen drawer? I wish someone could tell me!
Also, the cover of this copy of "The Magic Toyshop" is suppose to show Uncle Philip taken from a television adaption of the book. Man, did they ever get this totally wrong! The actor playing Uncle Philip here looks like a gentleman - nothing like the huge dreadful souless heartless ogre portayed in the book.

Unbalanced highly recommended this one and all but pushed it into my hands at the Canberra June Booking. So who am I to argue? I'm a sucker for speculative fiction anyway!
