Map of Bones - Int'l BOOKRAY
11 journalers for this copy...
This is quite an incredible book! Of course, I just like the way James Rollins writes adventure thrillers. But this one is again going one step farther: one step farther than Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code" AND one step farther than "Seven Ancient Wonders" by Matthew Reilly (an other of my bookrays - http://bookcrossing.com/journal/3635954 - you can still join...). It's a well balanced mixture of the present writing trends: litterally fusing the latest science findings with fiction, religion and ancient history. Not an easy task, but in these cases masterly done. I do not want to tell more about that story, but it is a fast read - you just cannot stop!
I make a BOOKRAY out of this one. Care to join? Just send a PM. The following Bookcrossers are taking part in this bookray:
"vexter" from Ljubljana, Osrednja Slovenija - Okolica Ljubljane in Ljubljana, Slovenia (EU pref.)

RELEASE NOTES:
This bookray got the "green light"! It starts with "vexter" from Ljubljana, Slovenia.
I received the book yesterday, started reading it today, and I'm loving it already! I hope I'll be able to finish it before bedtime tonight, because I don't think I could leave it unfinished and go to sleep!
I sent the book to Di78 today.
It's a great thriller, full of plot twists and turns, although there were so many of them that I was getting tired by the end. Or maybe it was because I kept reading late into the night, lol! There were also some plot holes that bothered me and minor discrepancies - why would an Italian woman be named Rachel? and her nonna speaks less-than-perfect Italian. But with this kind of books, you mustn't be too nitpicky, you have to let yourself be entertained. And that I was. :) I read the book in one sitting, annoyed at everything that dragged me away from it even for a minute. Thank you book-man-8 for this highly entertaining page turner!
Just arrived to Manchesterd. I'm just finishing another bring and I will started this one as soon as possible.
*** Just a little update: I'm going on holidays in the next few weeks and I will take this book with me. Sorry if I'm going to keep it for more then 1 month ***

Sorry for taking the book so long now... I started to read it now and if it is OK I would like to finish it (might need about a week or so).
If someone disagree... please let me know and I will send the book on immediately.
Thanks for understanding.

The background information in the Davinci Code was more interesting for me.
Thanks for bookman-8 to include me into this book-ring and thanks for the patience as well! :)
The book will be send on tomorrow.
Thanks Mary-T for the book.
It has arrived this morning, but I won't be able to start it before next week as I have another book to finish!
It was an very entertaining book. One reads it like a movie script: a good plot, fast paced, religious artifacts hiding some physical findings, high-tech toys and really bad guys.
A real page-turner! I read it in two days. Thanks for this read book-man-8.
Map will be on its way to Massachusetts by tomorrow.
Received today and will read asap. I have 2 other bookrings in front of it but I read quickly.

It arrived safely, I started reading it and got so caught up, I forgot to journal it! I'll be finished in a few days and will PM the next person. Thank you book-man-8. I'm hooked on James Rollins now!
What an exciting thriller! I now need to know more about all the things mentioned in the book. I'd love to see it made into a movie. Mailing off to redhatbird in Canada.

In the mail to redhatbird - enjoy!
Just received today, I am still reading a rabck so will get to it as quickly as possible... I am looking forward to it... :)
I am probably grading this higher then I should but this was a much better story then Sandstorm (as good as that was). Once again Sigma force is out and about in the world and with a little church intrigue, nasty, nasty villians and a love story. I have to wonder with all the action and adventure if Rollins puts the love connections in to appeal to us women folk. I enjoyed the historical references and the globetrotting makes me wish I had the time to get out of here and go travelling. I hope the next in line enjoys the book as much as I did.

Released by mail and sent to Brookler. Enjoy.
Received today in the mail. Thanks so much, looks good.
I really enjoyed this book. It's very exciting, very entertaining, and gives an intriguing twist to the old legends of alchemy. Makes me want to delve more into the science of it all!
Mailed today to Catsalive in Australia, by surface mail. Enjoy!
Thanks, Brookler. This book is tired after its long swim from Canada so I'll let it have a wee rest on my shelf before I get stuck into it.
Not a patch on Amazonia, this book didn't grab me at all. I don't know if it's because I've read too many similar books over the last year - religious symbology, hunt the ancient treasure, shoot-em-up - or it was just this book. It did not raise even a single thrill. In fact, I skimmed a large amount of it because I was bored with all the detail & the characters.
Thanks book-man-8. I await sgscarcliff's address.
Posted surface mail to sgscarcliff today.
This book arrived nice and safe. I will read and send on its way
