This is a book I expected to enjoy, but its surreal and gender-bending teasy qualities put me off. Will look for another reader for this copy.

I've read one other of Winterson's books (Oranges are not the Only Fruit) but didn't think I liked it until I was finished and thought about it a bit more. Then I became curious to read more of this author's writing. Now I'll have the chance. I appreciate your thinking of me and granting my wish.

I finally got around to looking at this book, but, after skimming its pages, decided that it was not for me. I will, however, try to find it another good home.
