Tales of the Tikongs (Talanoa : Contemporary Pacific Literature)

I am reading this for the Five Continents Challenge. The author lives in Suva, South Pacific and represents Australia and Oceania. It probably won't take more than an hour to reading, being only 93 pages.
It was only 93 and consists of about 10 short pieces about life in the island of Tiko -- a fictional place, I believe. Even though it was short, I didn't read it at one sitting because it was episodic, of course, but also because it didn't grab me at any time. Just a kind of slight book that gave me another notch on my five continents belt.
