The Mapmaker's Wife
1 journaler for this copy...
I can't remember how I came to acquire this book. The premise really intrigued me, a story of a French scientist exploring the wilds of South America in the 18th century, falling in love with a local Spanish woman. She travelled alone across the jungle to find him... a good story, worthy of Hollywood!!
I seem to recall skim-reading parts of the book. But it was a very intriguing story and I am glad I read it.
I will release this book into the wild. I hope whoever finds this book enjoys it. When you have finished with the book, please release it back into the wild for someone else to find. Thanks very much and welcome to Bookcrossing!
