I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one. This is about death of Peta and she eats like a pig and all the people at Tommel Castle Hotel are suspects. There is a group of people there from a dating service called Checkmate and the owner and Peta are business partners and the couples are all supposed to be matches so you get to know everyone because of this dating service.

I thought it was a good book overall because I love my visits to the West Highlands of Scotland. I am wondering if we are going to be seeing the new Constable that Daviot gave Hamish at the end of this book. If so that could be interesting. This is number 8 in the series.
