Haven't read this yet. Got it at Bookexpo Canada a few years ago, but haven't gotten quite to reading it. Alas!

On a whim, I searched the listings at AbeBooks for the keyword "bookcrossing", and found several listings that included "bookcrossing label" in the descriptions. (I don't mind seeing BC books in bookstores or for sale - that's part of a book's life cycle as far as I'm concerned. And in this case the BC info was preserved, so that's good too.) I decided to order a few of those books so I could re-release them, and this one (a softcover, signed by the author) arrived today. And I was delighted to find that it was registered by BCer N8an, who I got to visit in Ottawa in the early days of BookCrossing; don't know if you still get the notifications, but if so, hi - and I hope all's well with you and yours!

Later: Interesting look at the life of the prolific novelist, short-story writer, and screenwriter, including his personal life as well as his professional career. (I admit I've enjoyed his work more via the screen adaptations than in print - though I've only tackled the novels; perhaps I should hunt up his short stories...)

[There's a TV Tropes page on Leonard and his work, with some entertaining tidbits.]

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Guidelines for safely visiting and stocking Little Free Libraries during the COVID-19 pandemic, from the LFL site here.

I left this book in the Little Free Library, while admiring the frisky alpacas in the pen nearby. (They're in the background of the release-note photo, but I posted a clearer image in my previous JE - they're just so cute!) Hope someone enjoys the book!
