Wow this was a really good book. It was much better than the movie because it had a whole lot more information than the movie. I was a little upset about a couple of death that happened in the book. Also The second movie couldn't happen if the first were accuate with the book.

Jurassic Park was an awesome book! The book was so much better than the movie, and so much different, too. MIchael Crichton did a magnificient job writing this book. I can't wait to read The Lost World.

i enjoyed this book a great deal, and found it to be very interesting. i love the character of ian malcom he is very smart yet aslo sarcastic and funny. one thing i dont understand though is that he dies is the end of this book. yet is the main character in lost world ...STRANGE. i also once again like how the book contained more action and more info about the dinosaurs. finally i just like to point out some major differences were present in the book compared to the movie. for example the deaths of malcom and hammond, also the discovery or a raptor nest, and the fact that in the end they are forced to stay in costa rica and the whole island is bombed. overall good book wish i had taken more time to read it so i can catch more of the interesting facts and tidbits, but still greatly enjoyed it.

I thought this book was amazing in how much detail Crichton goes into. He explained how the dinosaurs were made, and their DNA so perfectly, it was if the story were real.
I enjoyed this book so much, i couldnt stop reading it. Some parts were the same as in the movie, but others were completely different.
The raptors i thought were the most interesting, because of how they were described. I could almost picture them in my head. I didnt like the situation about the boat, because it just seemed too fake for the raptors to escape like that. I also dissagree with some of the deaths in the book, because it takes away from the feeling of the book, and the majesty of the dinosaurs.
Overall, this book was great, and i am really looking forward to reading the Lost World. Hopefully the Lost World is as thrililng, and as full of information as Jurassic Park.

CAUGHT IN CINCINNATI OHIO USA

This book is a fast-paced thriller that is extremely hard to put down and is by far better than the movie. It also helps explain things that the movie left out.

The book takes place on an island off the coast of Coasta Rica where a venture capitalist named John Hammond has set up a safari type tour of genetically enginered prehistoric dinosaurs, all of which are enclosed in their own sections to protect the visitors. Six people visit the island and are asked to evaluate it in the issue of safty. Several events take place that all come together and all of the parks systems go offline, allowing the dinosaurs to roam free. Now the people have to work for their lives and find a way to call for someone to get them off the island alive.

This book is probably one of my favorite books and definitly Michael Crichton's best work ever. I would highly reccommend it to anyone who likes Michael Crichton or just reading in general.
