The Shadow of the Wind

A duplicate I picked up at a library book sale. This is promised to tobysrus at the convention next week.
Wow. Probably the best book I've read this year. I felt it started a bit slow, but picked up momentum quickly. I liked the quirky storyline and the way the main plot line started to mimic the other plot that was unveiling. I also liked the fact that books played a central role. It was one of those books that you cannot guess where it's headed. I highly recommend. Tomorrow I'm taking it to the Boston Bookcrossing Meeting.

Just got this book at the meeting in Cambridge. Looking forward to reading it.
I found this book to be really engaging. I was hooked from page 1
I'm going out on a limb here ... this would not be my "usual" read. Still, it comes highly recommended by Meet-up buddies; and I have come to trust their opinions on books and authors I know nothing about.

RELEASE NOTES:
An interesting book, well written; but not really for me. I know that many will enjoy it, so I am releasing it into the wild! (or, as wild as my neighborhood Starbucks gets...).
