This must be one of the best-known banned books ever...(notice that I didn't say *the* best-known)...or at least one of the banned books with the highest number of copies printed! :p
I still have my Muggles for Harry Potter button somewhere, even though the group has since morphed into kidspeak.
When the banned book box arrives, I might add this to the box if there isn't already one in there.
What I really love is that after the last book was released J.K. Rowling gave interviews about the series being a Christian allegory. So in that case, does that make Harry and friends approved reading even though they're self-admitted wizards and witches?? It worked for the Narnia books. :p
I'm not knocking C.S. Lewis (I'm a fan of Narnia from way back); I just think the whole fuss over HP as evil is waaaaay overblown...and I think it would be funny if J.K. Rowling's books started turning up in religious bookstores next to those of J.R.R. Tolkien & C.S. Lewis. She's already using her initials, so she should fit right in.
