Dark Delicacies : Original Tales of Terror and the Macabre by the World's Greatest Horror Writers

Yet another impulse buy. (While I wouldn't say the contributors are all among the "world's greatest horror writers," several of them definitely are - and I like the work of enough of them to make me covet this book!)
Later: An unusual collection here. Among my favorites: Ray Bradbury's bittersweet and disturbing "The Reincarnate," Whitley Strieber's thought-provoking "Kaddish", Brian Lumley's darkly funny "My Thing Friday", Nancy Holder's rockin' "Out Twelve-Steppin', Summer of AA" [subtitled "with apologies to Joe Lansdale hisownself"], Chelsea Quinn Yarbro's amusing "A Gentleman of the Old School" [one of her Count St. Germain stories], and Rick Pickman's "Dark Delicacies of the Dead" with its hilarious take on a book-signing at a dark-fantasy bookstore.
