Dupe copy (I've got three copies of this for some bizarre reason!) so I thought I'd bookcross this one and take it along to the Chertsey Bookcrossing meeting tonight to see if it tickles anyone's fancy. I hope it does - having three copies of one book is a bit... odd...
Oh well - no one wanted it so it came home with me. I shall make other plans for it.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I think this was on the UK Only fiction relay - something like that... Anyway, posting out today!
Arrived today, thanks very much Wubbaducky! Looking forward to reading it.
This is the second book I've read by this author and while I liked this one better than "Charlotte Grey" I still feel there was something lacking here. I didn't like the flashbacks to the war and post war scenes of Frank and Charlie as I felt they distracted from the main story which to my mind was the love triangle between Mary, Charlie and Frank. At times the dialogue grated on me too. However I did like the background to the story, the Kennedy election and the whole ambassadorial world, fascinating, and the scenes between Mary and her mother and father and the scene where she spends the day with her children were wonderful.
I'm glad I read it but I doubt I will try another book by this author.
