I read this about three years ago. I remember really enjoying it. Although, I must confess that I didn't read the last 25 pages. I got impatient and skimmed through them to find out how the book ended. Once I found out how it ended, there was no point in finishing it.

Oh, my gosh! This book was SO good! I risked getting busted at work to read it because I could not put it down. You really feel yourself bonding with the characters. Anne Rice rocks. The only down side was that ending...it's a definite teaser and leads you to believe a Part II is on the way, but where IS it??
