Four short stories for Yann Martel's early career. The title story was my favourite; beautiful, upsetting and clever in equal parts. The second story, 'The Time I Heard the Private Donald J. Rankin String Concerto with One Discordant Violin, by the American Composer John Morton', was very well written. Thanks to Michelle for allowing me to read it.
Updated 7 June: I'm returning this to perfect-circle. She's then, very kindly, going to use her knowledge and wisdom to get this to a future meet; possibly the Edinburgh BookCrossing Unconvention next month.
