Tales of a Female Nomad: Living at Large in the World

Purchased new at Borders.
Wow. I bought this book in Nov 2006, three months before I filed for divorce. Seems a lifetime ago.
This book planted a seed in me, one that grew into a three month sojourn in Greece, which is where I am right now. I never finished the book first time around, so I brought it with me, my paper traveling companion. I loaned it to a young woman from Belgium with whom I lived and worked for three weeks on Crete. Then I started reading it again, with new eyes.
I still have not finished the book. I'll have to buy another copy, because I let this one go. (Release notes to follow.) May others be as inspired by it as I have been, and then some.

I gave this book to my host and new beloved friend, Ingrid. She had told me previously that oftentimes, she is so excited when reading a book that she gives it away or loans it out before she's finished it. So, I decided to give Tales of a Female Nomad to Ingrid before I finished it. I hope she and others will find inspiration within its pages, and maybe pick up just a smidgen of my own fascination that may have oozed onto its pages over the past five years. Enjoy!
