Four strangers, with nothing in common but a need to escape, meet in a Greek taverna high above the small village of Aghia Anna. From Ireland, America, Germany and England, they have each left their homes and their old lives, when a shocking tragedy throws them unexpectedly together. Fiona is a young nurse, trying to make her family understand her needsto follow her own path. Thomas desperately misses his young son and fears that his ex-wife will come between them. Elsa abruptly left her career as a television presenter, but someone from her past refuses to let her go. And shy, quiet David is determined to make a stand against his overbearing father. With these four is Andreas, the taverna owner, who badly misses the son who left home nine years ago and has never returned.

Picked this one up at MeetUp last night in London - even though I said I wouldn't take any!! Hee hee!
I have signed up for loads of bookrays for this author, but they always seem to go astray! I have yet to read her at all.

This was a joy to read, flowed along nicely, interwoven lives among new encouters, all thrown together on a random travelling moment. Really appealed to this travel junkie!
Different personailities from different parts of the world, all escaping from different things in their lives....find advise and a chance to look at their lives, and what they are really doing, in a little village in the Greek islands.
Was a nice piece of escapism, with an easy read, and a book you could just be absorbed in.
