Everything I expect from Mr Moore: Monsters, silliness, wisecracks and heart. I enjoyed it very much. Reserving for TOC.

Delightful! Wonderful! Chris Moore! Suppose a bungling beta male is thrust into the roll of collecting the soul vessels that hold our dearly departed. Suppose he screws up, thus inviting the demons of the underworld (i.e.: the sewer) to invade San Francisco. Now suppose the tale is told with tonggue firmly in cheek, as Chris Moore does so well. Prepare yourself for a wild ride, but be aware that the rest of your life will have to go into a holding pattern until you've read it through.

Write fast, Chris! We need more!

Returning to TOC.

Received today at BX lunch. Thank you for sharing!

Charlie Asher becomes a soul recycler on top of his day job running a second-hand shop. He needs to juggle being a single dad and stopping evil harpies from stealing the souls stored in his shop.

Back to TOC for the next reader, 5/28/06.

Woo-Hoo! Another Christopher Moore! Picked up from TOC today & I can't wait to dig into this one!

This book ate a 3 day weekend. And I didn't mind one bit. It made me both laugh and cry... and want more.

Back to TOC next month.

Ok, got this at lunch today and I know it's highly recommended, so it'll go at the top of the TBR stack. Thanks!

This went fast and was a lot of fun. I may have to take another look at all those second-hand stores, especially the small ones! I'm thinking my soul object has *got* to be a book, but which one? Hm...

I picked up a copy of Practical Demonkeeping today at the library book sale, so there's definitely more of this author in my future.

Who wants to read this next? Someone picked it up at our July TOC lunch. (Sorry, this means I don't have the book any more!)
