Very engaging and full of so much truth about life and how we control our own destiny.
A couple of lines jumped out at me...

Learning is finding out what you know.
Doing is demonstrating that you know it.
Teaching is reminding others that they know just as well as you.
You are all learners, doers, teachers.

This is on its way to bcer Rendiru now. I hope she finds the message as clear as I did.

I really liked this book. Thank you, cestmoi, for sending it to me. :-)

This was a very fast read (under 200 pages), but not a shallow read. I liked that I could read the book on the surface level of the story and enjoy that while taking in the ideas presented (the ideas will simmer in my mind for a while, I'm sure). Now, I didn't agree with all the ideas presented, especially the discussion about how we can choose to be ill or well, but I truly agree that our attitudes in dealing with life can make life a blessing or a curse. There is a lot to ponder in this slim volume. I think I will have to hunt down a copy of this for my permanent library. :-)

I received this book at a Sacramento bookcrossing meetup.

I enjoyed reading the book. I found that the ideas presented were a little simplistic, as other books in this vein (the celestine prophecy comes to mind) but interesting nonetheless.

Released on Friday, February 14, 2003 at Train 544 to Sacramento in Capitol Corridor, Amtrak USA.

Left next to the pay phone in the cafe car.
