Picked this one up at the London monthly meet up earlier this evening, mistakenly thinking that it was about that nice detective with all the gory cases in Brighton, but rahar put me right - those books are by Peter James and this one by Peter Robinson, but it still looks just like my sort of thing, so I brought it home with me anyway.

I've tried to start reading this several times, but it failed to grab my interest and I'm afraid I think I'm about ready to give up.
