This is an Orion Books paperback in very good condition.
I love all Maeve Binchy's work so I enjoyed this. it's set on a Greek Island and it makes you feel as if you are there. A very pleasant read.
From the back of the book:
Four strangers meet in a Greek taverna high above the small village of Aghia Anna. from Ireland, America, Germany and England, they have each left their homes and their old lives when a shocking tragedy throws them unexpectedly together.
Fiona is trying to make her family understand her need to follow her own path. Thomas desperately misses his young son and fears that his ex-wife will come between them. Elsa abandoned a successful career, but someone from her past refuses to let her go. And shy, quiet David is determined to make a stand against his overbearing father.
Nights of Rain and Stars is the story of one summer and four people, each with a life in turmoil. With the help of Vonni, an Irish woman who lives in the village is now a near-native, they find solutions - though not necessarily the ones they anticipated.

Journal Entry 3 by weebly from Hartwell, Northamptonshire United Kingdom on Saturday, September 30, 2006
I grabbed this book for the BCUK Extra release challenge. September's theme is water. I particularly wanted to release this book as I read and enjoyed it recently - and here is what I thought:
Weebly has read this book and found it different to other Maeve Binchy books as it is NOT set in Ireland!.
Looks like I wasn't in the mood to do a great review that day!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
Themed release for the BCUk Extra September release challenge - the theme is water. This book was left with umbrella's for sale outside SPorts Soccer World.
After popping in the store to buy some things as I came out a staff member had removed the book - saying something about ' someone randomly left this book in the bin out the front' - randomly? I think not - it took alot to get the rain theme and find some umbrellas to leave the book by!
