Dinner For Two
2 journalers for this copy...
Got from paperbackswap.com - thanks so much!
I really enjoyed this one - as I have all of his!
This one is about a 32 year old agony uncle (ex-music journalist) who is married with one miscarriage behind them. He then finds out that he has a 13 year old daughter from a one night stand years ago. It was very good - couldn't put it down.
I'm going to save for my chicklit bookbox to see if anyone wants - this is a hard genre to put him in :)

my first chucklit!! and with a British flare to boot!
very pleased by this chucklit novel. will have to look into other titles by this author/publishing house.
Dave is an editor at a music mag and has been married to Izzy for three years of their 6-year long relationship. When the music mag folds, Dave becomes an agony uncle for a teen mag. As such, he receives a letter that changes his life: 13-year old Nicola is his child from a one-night holiday stand. Having just experienced the loss from a miscarriage, Dave realizes that he really wants to be a father. However, because Izzy has not recovered emotionally from their miscarriage, he refrains from letting her know about Nicola. After a few months, Izzy is told about he husband's daughter and doesn't take it well.
my only problem is this: what the heck does the cover art have to do with the story? they never even mention poached eggs as a breakfast food, let alone a 'dinner for two' item!
