Amazon Review:
'This extraordinary, magical novel is the story of Clare and Henry who have known each other since Clare was six and Henry was thirty-six, and were married when Clare was twenty-two and Henry thirty. Impossible but true, because Henry is one of the first people diagnosed with Chrono-Displacement Disorder: periodically his genetic clock resets and he finds himself pulled suddenly into his past or future. His disappearances are spontaneous and his experiences are alternately harrowing and amusing. The Time Traveler's Wife depicts the effects of time travel on Henry and Clare's passionate love for each other with grace and humour. Their struggle to lead normal lives in the face of a force they can neither prevent nor control is intensely moving and entirely unforgettable.'

I have loved this book, and it is one of the few books I have read more than once (first of all on audio and then twice more as a written book!) and enjoyed it just as much the next time round. I worried that I wouldn't be able to keep track of the action and activity, but this was never the case. A truly brilliant book, an unforgettable read and one which is highly recommended.

Happy Reading!

Received this in the post on Saturday along with some lovely chocolate! I can't wait to get stuck into it, however it may have to wait as my TBRs just seem to keep on growing!

I finally completed this book a couple of weeks ago. After a shaky and sometimes slow start, the book picked up and the love story between Claire and Henry resolved itself into an almost 'normal' narrative.

That being said, I did enjoy this book and it definitely satisfied the cravings for some 'serious'-ish literature that I'd been feeling.

Thanks for sharing - I've now passed the book onto a fellow bookcrosser that I think will enjoy it.
