I actually wouldn't put this into the horror category, as it's one of those novels by King, while dark and scary, are more about human nature than about ghouls and goblins. It's not one of his more exciting novels, but I think it's one of his better ones.

This book moved really slow at the start. when the plot unfolded it became very interesting. it's a book about driving force and what that driving force can cause people to do. the similarities of the two "accidents" and the dreams associated with them were unbelievably similar despite them being very different. It was interesting the way mr. king connected mrs. donavons fall with joes murder. it was also interesting the things that dolores discovered when she would sit down and discover things. this book basically showed me how somone can be pushed over the edge and its not their fault.
