I finished reading this book, and I believe it is so relevant to our world today. It's about people trying to make sense of their lives. It's powerful and so meaningful.

I posted it to vainilla79 in Madrid, Spain to start the bookring on 4/3/06. Enjoy!

I sent the book to abrokenstarr yesterday afternoon. Sorry it took me so long...:(
Happy reading!

Apologies for not journalling sooner, have really not had two minutes to get to a computer.

This is next up on TBR.

Journal Entry 7 by abrokenstarr from Reading, Berkshire United Kingdom on Sunday, July 30, 2006
Read this fairly quickly - was a good one to dip in and out of. An interesting story - almost science fiction in tone. I never really felt that close to the characters though, which is a bit disappointing.

Waiting for a response from angel1509.

Have had a response from angel1509, so will send it out to her this afternoon, second class.

Arrived just in time to go on holiday. I have been looking forward to this one and plan to read it in the next few days.

Fabulous tale, creepy in it's factual descriptions of a world that we could be very close to following recent developments reported in the press. I won't say anymore for fear of spoiling the story. PMing today for the next person on the list.

This actually arrived a couple of days ago but I've not been able to get on the internet much so apologies to all for the delay in journalling.

I've heard so much about this book and feel like everyone has read it but me! I have another bookring to finish first but will read it next.

Thanks for sharing, I'm looking forward to it!

I feel completely blown away by this powerful book. I finished it this morning and have spent the rest of the day in a stunned near-silence. The image described of two people clinging to each other in the river pulled me so closely into the book that my nose was almost touching the pages. I will definitely be seeking out a copy of this for my PC.

It might be a couple of weeks before I scrape together the few pounds to send this on, but as I've only had it a week I hope this is ok. I'll be sending it on as soon as I can and just wanted to journal whilst the beauty of the book was still so fresh in my mind. Thank you for sharing.
