I don't remember which book I started with in this series, and I didn't get to read any of the books in order, but even so, I found this set of books to be very engaging, the main characters are very human, witty and charming.

When I discovered that I was going to be vacationing in Seattle this year, I thought it would be a great idea to do a Release Challenge with Mary Daheim's books there, since it is her hometown.

I have acquired all the books thus far in the series, and planned on releasing them all during my Seattle stay, however, my mom discovered the series on my bookshelf and has forbidden me to release any that she hasn't finished reading. (Gee, thanks, mom.) As a result, I will only be able to release about half of the series during my trip, but may be able to send the rest to another Bookcrosser to release later. Here's hoping.

Received this from SpiritWolf922 and will be releasing it for her in the area; after I read it of course! It was such a treat to meet this charming bookcrosser and her family in real life--And she brought me books!!! I'm going to have fun releasing these.

These are definitely the best kind of popcorn books; an healthier snack for the brain. I've actually been on a steady diet of these for the last little while and have felt no ill effects ;-) This is the first in the Bed-and-Breakfast mystery series. A fortune teller is poisoned at the bed-and-breakfast and Judith sees her livelihood sinking fast if she and her cousin Renie don't figure out who dunnit. Good tales. Release plans aren't set yet but I'm sure I'll find a good place.

I took this one with me today intending to release it on the ferry on our way back from Seattle. We ran into an old and dear friend that we hadn't seen in ages (my college roommate!) and I gave it to her. Hope she enjoys it.
