This is, without a doubt, my absolute favorite of Nevada Barr's Anna Pigeon mysteries. The writing is excellent, the action tight, and the tension builds until it's almost unbearable. I re-read this at least once a year, and highly recommend it (as I do all of Nevada Barr's novels).
