This was highly pushed to me by both men and women, which is always interesting. It's not always pleasant reading but as murder tales go, this is one of the most beautifully written.
All I can say is don't read this with a cold - I started it with a cold last year and gave up a third of the way in. This year, cold-free, I read it in a few days and really relished the 'perfume' of the writing!
