This book came from a large lot we recently bought at auction but unfortunately it is not suitable for our shop stock, so is going to be "book-crossed", so that someone else may enjoy it.

Caught at the Camel and Artichoke at the Tuesday meetup - sorry for the delay in journalling, real life intervened!

I find reading Ian Watson akin to the experience of eating perfect grapefruit. A slightly odd picture, so let me explain!
I may not like the vision in the story, but the experience of reading it grabs hold of me and I can't let it go. Superbly written it draws me in to a fantastic experience that has a lingering hold on me - but I am never sure whether that experience will be sweet or bitter. Whatever it is, I feel better for experiencing the story.
And with this being an anthology, whatever your taste you are bound to find some sweet segments!
