SHE HAS A WICKED SECRET...
With her family in dire straits, Olivia Hopkins reluctantly agrees to seek a marriage proposal from the aging Earl of Salisbury. But the plan goes awry when she finds an erotic volume in the earl's library. The book sets Olivia's body on fire. She simply cannot put it down—until she is caught red-handed by the Earl's devilishly handsome son—a man who quickens her pulse and stirs her imagination with thoughts she's never dared entertain...
AND HE'LL KEEP IT... FOR A PRICE
Phillip Paxton can't believe his good luck. Catching Olivia with the scandalous volume offers a superb chance to humiliate the father he despises. I've really liked some Cheryl Holt books I've read, and been a bit disappointed by others... so I'm looking forward to seeing which category this one fits. Thanks so much for trading Nikel!
Well this one was decidedly one of her better books, and I enjoyed it a great deal. Although Holt still abuses the exclamation mark key on her keyboard, she seems to have toned it down a little, and in this book her language is not jarringly anachronistic as in some of her other books. The plot is intriguing, the bad girl gets her comeuppance, the good girl gets the good guy, etc. A number of interesting twists, a fun weekend read. Will probably go on to Vienna from here.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
RELEASE NOTES:
This was the best Holt I've read so far. I enjoyed it a lot! She still goes heavy on the exclamation marks! But her writing felt much more authentic in this one, and fewer anachronisms.
On its way to Vienna as part of a trade.Enjoy!
