I enjoy the Stephanie Plum series; thought I'd give this a try.

If you enjoy a light romance with a smidgen of mystery, you will like this book. For me, the main reason to read it was to see the precursors to Evanovich's characters in the Stephanie Plum novels. You can DEFINITELY pick out Joe Morelli and Grandma Mazur. It's a real bon-bon of a book, just a quick and easy read, only a romance junkie or a Stephanie Plum nut would really enjoy it.

Not Janet Evanovich's best but being her first novel and introducing the beloved Grandma Mazur character and the first of Dog Bob is worth it.
