I've never read anything by this author, but it looks like it could be amusing.
This book is a lot of fun. There are knights (I kid you not), wenches, scoundrels, cads, ladies, rogues, and more. There is also jousting, sword fighting and archery. All of this is set in a Renaissance Faire in present-day Canada. I've seen some Society for Creative Anachronism fairs and really enjoyed them, but this was quite a bit beyond those.
I also liked that it was sexy without being crude. And the dialogue was interesting without devolving into cliché. I especially loved the "insult-off" between Pepper and Farrell. I will definitely have to remember some of those.
This is my second book by this author and I'll be looking for more. She combines a good dose of humor and plot with her romances.
Sis, do you want this back or should I pass it on?
