Found at charity shop, and having read "Miss Smillas Feeling for Snow" I thought I'd give this a go (may actually have read it before and forgotten, but if so I guess I'll soon find out!)

I found the book on a bench near Whitestone Pond (on 8/3/2011) and as it was a lovely sunny day I sat there and read it for a few minutes. It will be my next read when I finish my current book.

Further to my previous entry - the book is a bit slow to start but I am glad that I stuck with it. The pace and interest grows and is rewarding at the quite surprising end. It is an unusual story but has a strange logic to it and explores human activities along the way. Well written and definitely worth a read. I now feel quite proprietorial about the book and have to think carefully about where to release it again to ensure that it is respected.
