Although now out of print I selected this as a school prize way back when it was a hardback. Gave that copy to my Grandmother when she took up bridge, but got another copy in paperback to give to a friend coming to dinner who has a partner and is keen to get to play Bridge. This makes a very handy reference and can enable the reader to play a decent enough game with others who know the game and get started without too much onerous reading that might put them off. I am hoping it may be useful to her to get her partner started on playing Bridge.
