I read "Man and Boy", of which this is the sequel to, and I really enjoyed it. I saw this in the charity shop and couldn't resist.
Harry Silver is learning to juggle his many commitments - to his wife and his ex-wife, to his son, his step-daughter and his mother, to his own work and his wife's career.
And then someone walks into his life who is going to make it all even more complicated...

I enjoyed this book about love, relationships, mariage and our responsibilities. The story was quite moving in places, but I found the main character of Harry hard to relate to, and frankly I just wanted to shout at him to pull himself together!

Thank you for dropping this off yesterday Louise :) I'll keep hold of it for a couple of weeks, unless anyone else would like it in the mean time....

Oh wow! I've been flooded with books recently and didn't think I was going to have time to read this before passing it on for the 'Well Travelled' challenge. I picked it up last night with a view to read the first chapters, but once I started I couldn't put it down.
I'd forgotton how much I'd enjoyed Man and Boy, and as soon as I started reading about Harry, Pat, Cyd and Peggy I couldn't put it down! In many ways I think the sequel is better than Man and Boy and Parson's thoughts on marriage, the blended family and what constitutes as normal is very fitting and often poignant.
I'm glad I took the time to read this book before sending it over the ocean to spazcat for release. I feel my life has been slightly enriched and if I see another cheap copy in the charity shop I might have to bring it home with me.
Thanks for sharing louisesalter, the book is going in the post to spazcat next and I'll post in the next couple of days.

~~WELL TRAVELLED WILD RELEASE CHALLENGE 2006~~
Received this book from cnfotp and think I have a perfect place to wild release it for the Well Traveled Challenge.
RELEASE NOTES:
Didn't get the chance to release the book where I had intended---at a wedding chapel---as there was a wedding letting out, so I had to settle for the sub place. Left the book on top of the Orlando Sentinel newspaper box outside.
