A thrift store "rescue". Repaired it a bit.
Staining on some front pages and edges, but seems readable. Send it to
the bookcemetery if you think it's in too bad shape.
RABCK to day-zee.

I'm glad this one was rescued DrSlump612! There is a bit of what looks like water damage on the first few pages, but the book is still completely readable.

I think this is as far as I got with the series when I was a young girl. I can't wait to find the whole series ~ I'm quite anxious now to read them!

The Little House Series
by Laura Ingalls Wilder

a postal bookray put together by day-zee

This entire series was *RABCKed to me from a bookcrossing
friend whom I never met. He had noticed that I eventually
wanted to collect all 9 books, and release them as a set;
and then sent all of them to me before I had a chance to
find any myself!

This Bookray goes out in honour of DrSlump612.
It will reach 8 readers (myself included) in the
bookcrossing community. As each bookcrosser reads the
entire series, they will contact the next person on the list
by Private Message (PM). After receiving a reply
with the next person's address, it will be sent along on it's
journey. It will be fun to share eachothers thoughts
as we re-live the story over and over again through the
bookcrossing journals. When it reaches the last person
on the list, a new fate will be decided for these wonderful little books.

There is no time limit in the reading of these books -
There are nine of them. Just keep in mind that there are
other people waiting to have just as much fun with them as
you're going to have. Please, also journal each book as
you complete them, so that each bookcrosser involved can
estimate when to expect them.

Have fun everyone! And enjoy! :)
day-zee

Bookcrossers will be highlighted
as they receive the series: -->

This one wasn't as familiar as the others so far, so perhaps I haven't yet read it. Finished it last night, and it is just as good as the others, although the last two chapters didn't seem much like an ending. The ending seemed to be at the end of 'Where Violets Grow' for me, and the last two were a bit rushed.

I'll be starting The Long Winter this evening. Seems fitting for my mood right now. The Winter days have been so cold lately...

Hmm, I found it hard to get into this one, but it was nice to see Laura at an older age and maturing. Onto the next book shortly!
