I've seen the film and spotted the book in a Charity shop yesterday and thought I would like to read it.
I definately prefered the file with Audrey Hepburn in it sorry!!!

Received in mail today from Smurphie--all the way from Scotland--home of my ancestors! A nice vintage copy. Along with it a beautiful postcard. Thanks so much. Will read and release. :)
Already have another good home for this book when I get done with it. Will be going to another BCer who has it on her wish list.
Loved it. Now I have to go track down the film--yes, can you believe I've never seen it??
This little edition also contains two other short stories of Capote's but I just skimmed through them; they didn't seem as interesting as BAT.
On it's way to MissTree in CA, whom I hope enjoys it as much as I did.

Arrived in the mail, today. Thank you so very much, Classicfox!!! I've peaked at the first page, and am already in love with the writing!
Omigosh! I just realized that I forgot to journal my thoughts about this book!
Capote's writing sparkled with wit, humor, fun, and pathos all embodied in the seemingly carefree character of Holly Golightly. I really, really enjoyed this!
I went on to read the three other short stories in this volume. Of those, my favorite was A Christmas Memory, a beautiful story which I found tender and poignant.
These two stories, Breakfast at Tiffany's and A Christmas Memory were particularly brilliant, IMO, and the other two stories were still very good.
Hopefully taking this to a meet-up tonight.
