Purchased at WHSmith for the princely sum of 49p during their post Christmas sales. I can't resist a bargain and hope to get this book into the hands of someone who'd like to read it.

I read this book after having seen the movie which was made of it and my opinion of the movie wasn't great even though I adore John Cuzac who played the lead character. I admit to enjoying the book much much more as the humour was a whole lot funnier with the original British slant and I decided what was missing from the movie was this Britishness.

The story follows 30 something record store owner, former DJ and former 'cool' hipster 20something male in his quest to unwittingly destory every adult relationship he engages in. Will he find love and happiness? He might, you read it for yourself and see.

Found the book for £1 in a charity shop in North London, and have yet to read it. Will pass it on abroad (for free, this time) once I'm done with it :)
