On the cenotaph.

Whilst I was on holiday from England touring around New Zealand, I stopped in Dunedin and to my surprise came across a number of books around the cenotaph in Queen's Garden in the city centre. After some choices I picked up John Mulgan's Report on Experience a slim paperback which I felt would be an interesting short read, and easy to carry. Sorry but it took a while before realising I had'nt the will power to keep on attempting to get into this book. I found it to be too wordy and unless you have both a keen interest in the period which the book is set and in New Zealand's history of that period, an uninspiring read. I gave up after several attempts at page 47. This book will soon be making an appearance in my local town square (Nantwich Cheshire England for further adventures with perhaps a more dedicated reader. Release date to be around 27th May 2006.

CAUGHT IN DUNEDIN OTAGO NEW ZEALAND

Found the book on the War Memorial in Nantwich town Square, whilst my godson was chasing pigeons (he's only 2), on 31st May. My husband plans to take it to Nassau in the Bahamas next week.
