Yay! It was worth waiting for about a year until the first book in the series was down at 5,50 Euros as well in my local bookstore! :-) Now I can finally start reading with No. 1 (whenever I'll get to it!)
Gut angekommen, vielen Dank!
Darf bald weiterreisen :-)

This book arrived safely last week - I'm sorry it took me a while to journal it, it's been a busy week for me. Thank you for sending it so far, and also for the bookcrossing stickers and bookplates you included, so sweet!

I really enjoyed every minute of reading this. It has been simply ages since I’ve read a book that has been so much fun, where I laughed aloud at bits, and just didn’t want it to end. I’m glad this author has more books in the series, because I shall definitely have to look them up. I loved all the witty literary allusions—even the ones I didn’t understand, and all the various SpecOps were just hilarious. Especially the ChronoGuard. And both Jack Schitt’s name and his fate—what can I say: wonderful! This guy is a really good writer—somehow the details of the alternate world just flowed and made sense, they didn’t feel forced or like he was trying too hard to be clever; it was really easy to just step into Thursday’s 1985, and even when I didn’t totally “get” something, I could keep reading and follow the story and somehow it all made sense (not sure if I’m making sense, here!) Anyway, a great great read, and thanks so much for passing it on to me. I think I have an idea of someone to pass it on to here.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Last week I passed on some books to an American woman who is also living in Nepal; this was one of them. She has a circle of friends that she might pass on the books to after she reads them or if they aren't her cup of tea, so hopefully, we'll hear from one of them soon - maybe this one?
Happy travels, little book - and I really must look for more of this series, it's SO much fun!
