Der Nr. Bestseller aus Italien. Es gab damals viele Kontroversen um dieses Buch. Ich denke mal das der fortschrittlichere Norden Italiens war besonders geschockt und der Süden Italien war größtenteils sauer, dass Lara Cardella einige Tabus mit dem Buch brach.

Thanks Rainbow3! I love reading in German but sometimes it can seem so much like hard work, so its a delight to find something that looks much lighter. ironically this is translated from Italian, so if i like it I may be off to find the original!

This is a very interesting novel, dealing with a lot of controversial issues around growing up as a girl/young woman in southern Italy. It was slightly odd (given that I read Italian too!) to read this in German but it was an engaging and easy read, with plenty to think about along the way.
Diese ist ein ganz interessantes Roman, über vielen starken Themen um ein Madchen/junge Frau in sud Italien zu sein. Es war etwas komisch für mich (weil ich auch Italienisch lesen kann) diesen Roman auf Deutsch zu lesen. Aber ist es leich zu lesen, mit vielen interessantes Dinge darüber zu denken.
