Hmm. Chick lit, but not fluffy and romantic. Its a bit disjointed, the chapters seem to chart the life of a central female character. But not necessarily in chronological order. And one or two chapters seem to be completely unrelated to the rest of the story. But an enjoyable read, all the same.

A sometimes confusing but good read. I thought it was the first of two books by the same author (The Wonder Spot), but turns out they're completely different.
