The Red Room
3 journalers for this copy...
I thought this book was really quite boring as a mystery. I mean, the twists at the end are breathtaking, but it seems as if EVERYTHING has been left to the end, and sometimes the tying up of the loose ends doesn't always work, especially if there are too many. I've read a couple of the French books before, and this one is weak in comparison...
I received this book in the mail all the way from Singapore. Fellow BookCrosser Shanshan sent it as a gift. I will be back to journal after reading.
"The Red Room" is not nearly as chilling as French's "Killing Me Softly", but it has more mystery/suspense and quite a few intriguing characters. Kit is a police psychiatrist who has nightmares of a red room - a room in which nightmares become real. Confused? Me, too.
