Quite a good read but I'm sure it's predictable to those who read mysteries mostly. Some of the red herrings made me confused so I didn't guess who the stalker/kidnapper was until the last quarter of the book.

Chistine had a really terrible childhood with an abusive father and schizoprenic mother and a bully of a brother. Luckily she had two very good friends to tide her through, I really like Eda and Lucille who stood by her and helped her all these years.
