A glass of wine, a gossip and a good book - The reading group is born.

For the OBCZ.

Took this from the OBCZ in Tilburg. A real bookcrossing book: the topic is reading books.

Journal Entry 6 by wingEnitnajwing from Tilburg, Noord-Brabant Netherlands on Wednesday, September 6, 2006
Finally read this book...I started reading during my holidays, put it away because of a busload of ringbooks and started reading again last week!
I enjoyed this book a lot. Some of the books they refer to I'd like to read sometime...I liked the characters and the way they develop during the year/the book. I was glad that there is a narrator, who told the stories of the ladies. It would have been much more difficult to keep them apart when every lady would have told her story herself.
I'll think of a place and/or a moment to release this book again!

We read this book as the first book in our new book club.
I enjoyed the book, although I had expected them to say more about the books they read for the reading group. Like mopperhond, I had trouble telling all the characters apart sometimes, and had to go back to previous sections to remind myself who was who. But all in all it was a nice read.
I sent the book to Lunabooks today as her prize in the 8th Tiara Sweepstakes!

Thanks for sending me this book, Fifna! Sounds like a nice read. I might even read it with my own book club :-)
