Gardening in the Shade

This is a beautifully written and engaging book, with lots of good advice and inspiration. The only reason it didn't get full marks partly due to its age (which is a bit harsh, I know), as I don't think it is quite so relevant to the modern small garden, as to the more expansive traditional gardens of the past. Having been written in 1964 this is hardly surprising.

Picked up from Leeds Meetup in January. This will be a great help in successfully planting in my tiny shady yard which hardly gets any sun. Looking forward to next month when I can start planting.
