This was a pretty good read, even though it was depressing. The main character really brought me down with his miserable complaints and objections to everything. Also I noticed that his situation gradually gets worse leading the reader through a modern day tragedy. What is so special about Camus work? I think its mostly the detachment he creates between the reader and the main character. I was impressed that the author could do that and still hold my interest.
