From the back of the book:

Disillusioned journalist Tom Langdon must get from Washington to LA in time for Christmas. Forced to take the train across country because of a slight 'misunderstanding' at airport security, he begins a journey of self-discovery and rude awakenings, mysterious goings-on and thrilling adventures, screwball escapades and holiday magic.

He has no idea that the locomotives pulling him across America will actually take him into the rugged terrain of his own heart, where he will rediscover people's essential goodness and someone very special he believed he had lost.

In equal parts hilarious, poignant, suspenseful and thrilling, The Christmas Train is a delightful journey filled with memorable characters who have packed their bags with as much wisdom as mischief...Part detective story, part disaster movie, part romance, this is a brilliant, heart-warming holiday tale.

Shame on me!!!
I took this from the bookbox absolutely ages ago and it wasn't until my mum snitched it from my bookshelf that I realised I had never made a journal entry.
I'm so sorry.

A fun read..I'll leave my mum to make her own journal entry.

I have received the book yesterday, thank you so much, lellie! I found as well a tiny little reindeer in the book, just the right bookmark for a Christmas story, isn't it? I will enjoy it, thanks! :-)

I can't believe it. Already over 10 (ten!) year gone since I got this book from pfiffigunde. (She brought me a whole box of bc books, because she did'n want to take care of them anymore.)
Now, at this holiday season, I read The Christmas Train and had a good time with it. 😁
Part detective story, part disaster movie, part love story and some x-mas decorations ... funny and worth while to read.
Thanks to all of you - and my big apologizes that you didn't got a message of this book earlier.

btw: this copy has a much nicer cover as on this page :)
