Mirror Mirror : A Novel
3 journalers for this copy...
Found this the other day as I was volunteering at the public library's book store .... a very dangerous place to volunteer because of course you are forced to look at all the books available! It's been on my most wanted to read list ....
Another classic fairytale retold by Maguire. Here is the story of Snow White although that's not her name in the book. You meet the dwarves, again not the same names, and the evil Lucrezia Borgia of the famous Borgia family known for it's skill in poisoning people. Overall a wonderful fairytale. It was a bit hard to get into but like all his books, if you stick with it, it's worth it in the end!

This made it here yesterday.
Got a bit of the flu, I think that I will be reading this while resting up over the weekend.
Thanks for the trade, hope your half travels out to CA just as quickly, once I make it to the post office.

This was definatly a good book to have to read whilst battling a case of the flu.
I had tried to read Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister before and hated it. Couldn't get into the story at all, so I was a bit hesitant to start this one.
I loved it!
I loved where the story got placed in history, I loved the main charecters, I loved the retelling.
I'm glad I decided to read this before adding it to my Boxing Day partner's box :)
The book is traveling now and it will be a bit before my partner can open it, but I'm sure she will enjoy it when she does.
