The second story about Goddard's anti-hero, Harry Barnet. I didn't follow all the scientific stuff, but still enjoyed the story.

Synopsis:
When Harry is informed that his son, David, is in a diabetic coma, he is certain there must be a mistake, since he does not have a son. But he soon discovers that he does and that other scientists employed like David have died in mysterious circumstances. Is David the victim of attempted murder?

I am currently working my way through Robert Goddard's novels and this one is as good as the rest.

I am sending it on to Decembermum who picked it out of a virtual bookbox. Enjoy!

I've ended up reading these books in reverse order having read Never Go Back without realising that it was the third in a series. Harry is a good central character, a flawed hero whom you like despite everything. The mathematics was completely beyond me but the story was good enough to hold my attention anyway and there was a good twist.
